We got up the morning after Halloween and went for a walk in the brisk autumn sunshine. Brock wore his "Mommy's Little Pumpkin" outfit one last time, sported an orange bib, and kept cozy with his hat and mittens. Next on the agenda? What better to do on the day after Halloween than play with our pumpkin? My pre-school teacher mother reminded me the other day, "It's all about tactile learning at this age, you know. They want to touch and feel everything." So this activity is for you, Mom. Brock had fun learning all about pumpkins, from their smooth orange outsides to their slimy gooey insides. It was only slightly messy. Totally worth it!
Oh Becky, I hope you can give him experiences like that every day. Every day should be an adventure. There's so much for him to see, learn and do! WOOOO HOOOO Little Cowboy, Pun-kin Boy! Granny Loves you so much.
