Awful
My new favorite game is leaving out words when I read to him and seeing which ones he knows. He knows a lot! I love this one.

Heh Caw Caw
I need to create a dictionary to keep track of his funny words. Helicopter is a tough one. I think he's doing really great :)

"Y" is for "Yelling"
We're still hooked on our Dr. Seuss ABC book. Whenever I read the "Y" page, about a little girl yelling, I say "yelling" really loud...you know, so he will understand what yelling means. Today I paused right before the word "yelling", to see if he would fill in the blank, and to my surprise, he did it without hesitation and even used the appropriate volume.

Pancake Bubbles
Last week, we were making pancakes and I told Brock we had to wait until there were bubbles and then we could flip them over. Today, we were making another batch of pancakes and the first thing he said when I picked him up to see the pancakes in the frying pan was "Bubbles!" I was surprised he remembered that. What a smart little sous-chef!

Say High Chair
It's hard to tell how long he's been trying to say "high chair" because it doesn't sound much like "high chair", and it just dawned on me that's what he's been trying to say. It's funny the words they come up with :)

Pretend Sleeping
He has started mimicking the pretend snoring I do when I read books where people are sleeping. Then today he curled up with a blanket on the floor and started "snoring". This was the first time I've seen him pretend. Every day there's something new. I love this baby.
