Tambourine Man

He has this thing where he likes to put things on his head, over his head, around his neck. I don't know why. So he put the tambourine on and then crawled around the house, and crawled, and crawled, and crawled. It would end up eventually around his waist and then he'd wriggle out of it somehow. And then he'd put it back on again and start all over. I had it on video but I'm not sure what happened to it. Curses.

Nice Doggie

Brock loves dogs :) It is so fun to watch his face light up when he sees them. He has been that way from the first time he laid eyes on one. Lucky for us, so far the dogs in his life have been pretty patient with his "petting" and "hugging". I love them for that .

Capitol Baby

Washington State's capitol building is absolutely gorgeous. Walking around Capitol Lake, looking up at the old domed building, and then seeing the mountains in the distance as the sunshine sparkles on the water is a perfect way to spend a sunny afternoon.

A Saturday at Granny's

Weekends are super fun at my Granny's...there's so much to do!
I play outside...
I open cupboards...

I stand up on my walker toy and try not to let it roll away...

I push buttons and listen to music...

I taste rocks...

I swing of course...

I get pushes from my Mimi...

...and after all that hard work, I soak my little tootsies in the hot tub. What an exhausting day :)

Swing in the Back Yard

Highlight of Brock's week: getting his very own swing built for him in his Granny's back yard. What a fun treat!

Visiting My Sissy

I got to spend some time with my sister in Eastern Washington.  I love her. I love her family. I love their house. I love their life. It is like walking into a really good country song. They have a river in their back yard. Yes, a river. Brock played with his cousins and their dogs and their trucks. It was a good weekend.

This is their wonderful old house

This is the view from the back porch

Brock and my sis, Tommi Sue

Not sure if this was before or after he dragged a sack of potatoes all around the kitchen floor. Who needs toys?

My niece, Brittany with Brock. That's my nephew Ben in the back.

Brock with my nephew, Gabe

Gabe, Brock, and Uncle Paul.

Uncle Paul's showing him how to play with trucks

This was so entertaining...the boys set up a sling shot for the dog toy. Listen closely and you'll hear it squeak as it soars through the air.
