Socks

Brock, that's J's sock. Don't pull it off...

I just pulled it a little bit, Mom.
Brock, that's J's sock. Don't pull it again, Honey.

I know, I just pulled it a little bit, Mama.

Brock, what did I tell you about J's sock?

I know, but if his socks are on, I can't play with his toes.

Table Talk

He can pull up in a hospital crib. He can pull up in his own crib. Next step: pull up on some furniture! He's working on it. I keep setting him in front of our coffee table. Here's what happens:
I'm reaching for it. Can I get a grip?

Okay, two hands...

Peekaboo...I see you!

My bottom has left the floor!

I'm on one knee...

...and back down again. Whoops.

Let's try again!

Jiggle It

Brock loves it when Aunt Ginny comes over. She is so fun, and she's a perfect excuse not to go down for a nap if she happens to come before he falls asleep :) Here's a little sample of some of their good times.

Turban-ator

I was changing his shirt one day, and it got stuck on his head. Struck me as funny.

Looks a bit like a first century Jewish woman here...oops.

Say Hi

Sometimes he says "hi". I promise. Well, it sounds like it. I was trying to get it  on video, but he didn't really do it here. I still thought the video was cute though. I guess I think every video of him is cute. Anyway, when I get a good clip of him saying it, there will be another post about saying hi.

Does this diaper make my butt look big?

Silly Mommy :)

Million dollar smile...

No Means No

I am starting to tell Brock "no" sometimes. He doesn't do much that I don't want him to do, but I figure it's good to start teaching him the concept. So when I was eating my breakfast the other day and he wanted to get into my cereal, I kept telling him "no". Except it came across more as a funny game and he just kept laughing at me...I take full responsibility for this. Maybe he thought it sounded funny the way I said it. Maybe he thinks his smile will get him whatever he wants in life. I'll use a stern mommy voice next time and try not to laugh.

Side Sleepin'

Our baby is a back sleeper. Always. Every nap. Every night. So imagine my surprise when I walked in to check on him the other day and he was curled up on his side. Super cute. Makes him look like a big boy :)

Sporting a Tapout shirt for Uncle Tyler and Uncle Josh :)
I still love his feet. Aaaahh....
