Does this blog feel like it's turning into the baby Food Network? Well, new foods are a big part of Brock's life right now, so I guess that's to be expected. Fruit seems to be an early favorite.

Monkeyin' Around

This monkey was mine when I was little. It is so big and fun--I'm glad my mom sent to us for Brock. Every once in a while I take pictures of him with it just to get some perspective on how much he's growing. Then the other day, Brock was staring at the tiny monkey on his jungle-themed Jumperoo and I decided he might enjoy seeing a bigger one, too. He was quite taken with him, and I know my monkey sound effects were icing on the cake :)

Gimme That

Now that Brock can pick things up, almost any new object can become a source of fun. He can play for a long time with a few toys in front of him, picking them up, flinging them around, picking them up again. He's getting lots of practice with hand-eye coordination. Good times.

I Can Pick Up My Toys!

He is learning how to look for toys when he drops them and pick them back up. It keeps him quite entertained. Doesn't take much :)

Deck the Halls

Brock decorated our Christmas tree this week! Everything is just more fun with him, I tell ya.
