Sitting Pretty

Brock is starting to get some balance as he practices sitting up on his own. I was sitting behind him in this video but not holding him up. He leans too far back sometimes and he even tips over, but he sat up and played for a long time here. He's learning new things every day!

Strollin' Down the Street

Brock graduated from riding his stroller in the car seat to sitting up in it like a big boy. I have been taking him on walks while "wearing him" in a carrier and have not used the stroller much because I don't want him to get bored riding backwards and looking at me the whole time. Now he can face frontward AND cuddle up in a blanket if it's cold :) Does he realize all these milestones as they come and go?

I'll Have Some Fingers, Please

He likes to suck on his fingers, particularly when they are covered with banana. Mmmmmm.

Jumpin' Bean

Now that Brock has grown a little taller, his feet comfortably reach the ground in his Jumperoo. It's like a brand new toy now. Man, does he like to jump! He's definitely getting his exercise :)

Pumpkin Britches

This was a fun eating adventure. We are adding a new solid food to his diet every week, and it only takes half a can of pumpkin to make a pumpkin pie so we had plenty left over after Thanksgiving. He had fun eating, squishing, and sucking pumpkin from his spoon which he expertly took out of the bowl and put straight in his mouth. Pretty clever kid. I learned my lesson after pumpkin meal #1. For pumpkin meal #2, we stripped down to the diaper and kept a warm washcloth handy so we could be as messy as we wanted.

Concentrating hard on what pumpkin feels like between my fingers...
I know what to do with that spoon!

I think I can get this in my mouth.
Yep, I knew I could do it!

Back That Thing Up

All motion is progress. Who cares if it's backwards? Crawling by Christmas...that's my prediction :)

A Laughing Matter

I hope you're not tired of watching this kid laugh. I know I'm not :)
