Heartbreaker

 This is B and one of his little (girl) friends. Notice the hand-holding up and down the stairs. Brock doesn't look too sure about it, but before I turned the camera on, there were lots of mutual hugs and he even got his first kiss on the cheek. I know this little girls' mom and we were just cracking up watching the kids together. Pretty cute. Watch out, ladies.

Jumping Off Daddy

I have posted videos like this before. But this one is different, and I don't know if the clip will do it justice. He was standing on Dad with arms spread out wide and letting himself fall like a belly-flop onto our bed pillows and then yelling like crazy into the pillows. I don't know. It just struck us as hilarious. Enjoy.

Trader Joe's

 I have always been a Walmart shopper. I don't always love it, but I love saving money and so I put up with a lot of nonsense. But I may be on the verge of conversion. Words cannot express how much I love Trader Joe's...but I will try. Not only is the milk cheaper than Walmart's, but the yogurt is one penny more and a billion times better. The delicious Honeycrisp apples are better AND cheaper, and I can get arugula for $1.99 which I can't even get at Walmart (and is also a big improvement over a bag of practically expired salad that I would pay a dollar more for at Walmart). Not to mention Trader Joe's has Brock-sized shopping carts. And samples. And organic food. I feel healthier just walking in the door. LOVE. 

Selfie

Ooooh! I found a new way to play with Mommy's phone. Turn on the camera and reverse the lens so I can see myself on the screen. Then take a video of myself and watch it over and over.....and over agin.

Our yard is not the best place for tricycle riding, so sometimes it happens inside. Brock can be convinced to do almost anything if he gets to ride his tricycle to get there. He's become an excellent park-er.

Diego Book

He loves to listen to a story lots of times in a row and then read it back to us. He's a good listener :) I give him an A in reading comprehension :)

Brock was such a big helper when we were taking down the Christmas tree this year. Then he got totally side-tracked playing with a sheet of plastic that came with one of our ornament boxes. Crazy, crazy, crazy.

Lightning McQeen 4-Wheeler

Wow, was this present ever a big hit. We have to charge it just about every day and it stays in our living room most of the time when we're not outside playing with it. Good times!

Drums and Trumpets

This was such a fun Christmas for Brock. He's been so intrigued with drums and trumpets for the last few months, and we knew he would love having some of his own. He took right to it. Fun!

Drumming with a Monk

Now here's an experience I bet not many two-year-olds have had. This was at Christmastime in the plaza in downtown St. Augustine. His ears perked up at the sound of the drums, and the performers took a break to let some kids have a turn. We were all over it.

Christmas Lights--Woo Hoo

One of the highlights of Christmas was riding the trolley through downtown St. Augustine to see all the Christmas lights. Brock was pretty pumped.

Here Comes the Trolley
